Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Free Battle Mode Destruction

Two brand new scans from V-Jump magazine show off free battle mode destruction in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2.

The destruction seems to be more then just a few rocks crumbling. The scan shows the whole landscape to change from battles taking on a completely ground-based environment to those in a water-based or mixed environment.

Ok in all seriousness, I'm sure it'll be a strong contender for FIGHTING GOTY. Series has so many fans and it's multi-platform this time. Doubt SSFIV will get it but Blazblue will be good for the hardcore. As long as everyone gives it a vote for Spike's VGA's we'll be ok.

I have the first game and my son and I really like playing it so if they can just expand on that then it should be great.

All that would happen was that when you used a finishing attack, the earth would be shown from space and then the landscape would change to basically obliteration.

They should have let you have tag matches Marvel vs. Capcom style. Since you can pick 2 assist characters that would have made this game about an 8.7 or 8.8 out of 10 in my book since the last game was an 8.5 to me.

Last game was so awesome. Mainly Multi-player though, Single-player kinda blew.

Tag matches would be sweet, I hope their are multiple playing schemes online, such as 1v1 without assists, 1v1 with assists, and TAG!... You might be onto something there ABizzel1.

this game beats every other ubisoft naruto games
the fighting is just way much better and the the environments are beautiful

the ONLY thing that is a bit lacking is the story mode, i think story mode in ubisofts game i better than the chapters cybereconnect use

This game looks awesome. The first one was just plain fun, whenever I had friends over we would play that for hours, and none of us even like Naruto.

Only thing I felt that needed to be improved was the singleplayer, it was a seamless experience but was very repetitive. It seems now though that you roam through multiple different locations so looks like they fixed that.

And also great to hear about an online mode, should be fun.

The first was nothing but amazing, this onw will be pure epic, hopefully the PS3 version gets the ability to transfer pre-time skip characters frok your storm 1 save. and its developed on PS3 so no bad ports. Only down side is its less than 9GB :(
