‘Final Destination’ creator remaking J-horror pic

CANNES — James Wong, director and creator of "Final Destination," is set to write and direct a remake of Yasuo Inoue's "The Neighbor Number 13" for Distant Horizon, the production and finance giant headed by Anant Singh.
