My Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Playthrough Experience

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has been a game that has been the bane of my gaming existence over the past year or so. When the game originally launched back in 2007, I was mindfully intrigued but pessimistically optimistic about playing a Western RPG after many years of enjoying Japanese RPGs.

My first three times playing this game were, dare I say, one of the worst gaming experiences I have ever had. The hand-to-hand style combat was never my type of fighting style, the Oblivion planes were RIDICULOUSLY difficult, and hell, even my girlfriend managed to one-up me on this game. I could NOT figure out this game for the life of me; therefore, I put the game away to play at a later time and hopefully have a better experience on my next try.
