PS3 takes No. 1 sales rank from Wii at Amazon

Increased sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 has led the console to rank as the No. 1 best-selling item on Amazon.com’s Computer & Video Games division.

Nintendo Co.’s Wii currently ranks at No. 4. It previously held the No. 1 sales ranking.

Sales for the PS3 increased 3,200 percent in a 24 hour period on Tues. It previously held a sales increase of 700 percent and a No. 3 rank Mon. morning.
