Videogames vanguard in the Middle East
The first ever Arabian commercial video game began development in September 2000, called UnderAsh, a 3D FPS game for the PC, based on the Palestinian conflict. Developed by Radwan Kasmiya and his team, published by Dar Al-Fikr in 2002, UnderAsh was only targeted towards Arab gamers, so it didn’t contain any English subtitles; not being sold outside the region.
