Explicit Gamer writes: "If there’s one thing that can be derived from Artoon’s new PSP game Echoshift, it’s that playing with yourself can be extremely rewarding. Executed in the same visually-minimalist style as Echochrome, its spiritual predecessor, Echoshift is a fine example of how to keep focus on a simple concept without becoming routine as the game progresses. If there is any major issue with the game it is that while the levels are rewarding and fresh, there is little replay value to a majority of them despite the developers inclusion of extra challenges."
