GamerPops: MLB 2K 10 Review
Baseball is a team game, but it all starts with two people: the pitcher and the batter. This is where 2k 10 shines. Pitching is done using the right stick, and 2k listened to complaints from last year, tweaking it until they got it just right. Now, you select a pitch with a face button, but throw the pitch by maneuvering the joystick ala special moves in a fighting game. So a fastball is done by pushing down, then up, similar to Guile’s Flash Kick in Street Fighter. The faster and tighter you do it, the better the pitch.
