*Slap in the face*: "You one legged parrot".

I agree. LBP with MOVE will be awesome.

What happened to:

"LittleBigPlanet 2 would be counterproductive"?

I know i won't care! LBP2 makes no sense, they should make new IP.

FragGen3497d ago

Now that Sony owns mm all previous comments they made about LBP2 happening or more pointedly NOT happening are null and void. I thought that as soon as I had seen that the deal went down.

When I first heard about "Move" I wasn't sure it was for me but LittleBigPlanet with Move support?...Now we're talking. Specially if the next LBP is in full 3D instead of just 2.5D...Now that I think about it...It would be great to add move support to our beloved 2.5D LittleBigPlanet.

They really should just make expansion packs for LBP kinda like The Sims, because tagging on a few extra features wont be enough to warrant a whole new game.

Unless of cause its drastically different from LBP like being fully 3D instead of 2.5D

"because tagging on a few extra features wont be enough to warrant a whole new game."

It seemed to work fine for Halo:ODST. I am excited for another game and think there are many new directions they could take.

vhero3497d ago

Seemed to work fine for every new sports game every year like fifa/madden/nhl not to mention super street fighter and all these goty editions lately that we are seeing. Anybody would think that DLC wasn't possible!

Arnon3497d ago

Who cares if other games do it. Halo 3: ODST was able to do it because it's not restricted to a single story, and Madden did it because... well they can get away with it.

Little Big Planet on the other hand is not the type of game that gets a sequel. It's the type of game that should rather get major updates and DLC.

http://ps3hype.nl/nieuws/57... (Just watch the video on this one)

http://www.n4g.com/ps3/News... (Here's the N4G link to the same site)

So is this really in development or not?

PapaKoots3497d ago

Hmm.. Ive read PS3hype in dutch. No additional information is provided. This website looks back at earlier comments from Media Molecule (as we all did) and finds that its contradictive to what Folkert states in the video, which was submitted earlier today.

The 'news' that LBP2 is not in development is not news, but the opinion of the editor of the newspiece, who chooses to believe old Media Molecule statements over the video. This does not come from Sony, its not a MM/Sony reaction to the reports from earlier today.

LBP2 with move would be epic... We all saw the tech demo and how "move" works perfectly with LBP's gameplay. I want to build a "little big slingshot" if this game comes out :)
