As for Gears... it's the Unreal engine... they weren't aiming for graphics or gameplay... just ease of development.

Well, he probably is right about Unreal - when Gears first came out, the engine was cutting edge but now its just old. Good graphics and very flexible (I was amazed that even Batman was built on that engine) but much inferior to KZ2/UC2/GoW3. The reason Splinter Cell doesn't look so good is because of Unreal.

Though from what I hear, the next version of Unreal should be an improvement, not sure if the 360 can handle it. The thing is, can you name one game after Gears which makes you think "this is a massive jump over existing graphics"

Of course they are made by the same company and RE 5 was using Lost Planets engine and now Lost Planet 2 is using an advanced engine on RE 5. Sorry if that was confusing..

Add in the 2 gears skins you can use and it is gears. Lost Planet 2 has no identity as far as I'm concerned. 2 gears characters and Wesker from RE right out of the box. It feels more like a multiplayer online game with no identity of its own.

Resident Evil 5 looks better so Lost Planet 2 will definitely look better because Capcom has improved their engine.

Awesome and the bonus is less droids will buy this game which is a PLUS. Because most of the sales will be on xbox360......like always u just can't count on ps3 to chip in with sales they like their Movies more than Games.

Well of course the 360 has been capped by Glitches of War and since the 360 is the lowest denominator of the PS3 and 360 the PS3 has to suffer due to the 360s inferiority. I will just stick to my god slaying GOD OF WAR!!!!!! ;-D!!!!!
