There is really no reason to play this game. It is not particularly fun, and it is a little broken. Family Party: 30 Great Games Winter Fun seems like the sort of thing that they would bundle with your first generation iMac in 1998. It is not nearly as good as those Olympic games with Mario and Sonic, but much better than Calvin Tucker's Redneck Jamboree.

Many are winter sports (bobsled, giant slalom, figure skating, ski jump, curling, and more); others are real winter activities, but not necessarily Olympic sports (snowball fighting, ice climbing, and so on); still others are completely imaginary (knocking Arctic animals off of ice floes, mining Ice blocks for treasure, etc.). The choosable avatars are designed as members of a large extended family."
