Meristation: It has been hard to get but Nintendo has finally set a release date for one of the most anticipated games for the fans of the WarioWare franchise. In "WarioWare DIY" for the first time we can create our own microgames to share with others. After the conference, Nintendo do our first look at what we offer the European version of the game.

These wacky, fast-paced mini-game collections were the perfect way to, not only have some hearty laughs with friends but to show off the more unique and underutilized side of Nintendo hardware. However, it’s been quiet on the WarioWare front for the better part of a decade now with the last ‘main’ game in the series released when the Wii launch in 2006 leading to the series becoming just one among many of seemingly forgotten Nintendo franchises and leads me to ask… what happened to WarioWare?"

2010 was a wonderful year for the Wii, thanks to Super Mario Galaxy 2, Donkey Kong Country Returns and Kirby’s Epic Yarn, and that was just retail. There's also had a wonderful collection of downloadable titles via WiiWare, which played host to Sonic the Hedgehog’s comeback and the continuation of the popular Bit.Trip series. So without further ado, we present the ten best WiiWare games of the year.
