Can i say G.O.T.Y or am i gonna be crucified.

ikkeweer5589d ago

Thought you'd be used to it by now judging by all the trolling u are doing today.

blasian5588d ago

u can say goty all u want but it wont happen

WMW5588d ago (Edited 5588d ago )

1.this is all ingame
2.most cut scenes are real time(confirmed by sony)
3.none of the pre rendered cut scenes are touched(confirmed by SSM)
4.yes gameplay is more important than graphics and we know it isn't all graphics because it is at 94MC higher or equal to most of the best 360 games.
5.it only looks that good because it is linear that would be valid but with hd, 50 enemies on screen, massive level size characters, real time lighting, realistic blood guts and muscle movements, cgi quality graphics, amazing animations etc all at once make it invalid
now that i covered all your excuses(i'm sure you will find more) this is goty of the year material not AW

Hey guys, GOTY isn't really the point here (although I'm hoping it wins it!) the point is the secret divulged by Mika From Remedy, have you read the article?! Aren't you curious? :)

TheXgamerLive5588d ago

although I'm guessing that it's not a secret, just unknown at this time. You can probably find the password in game as you go along w/normal game play. In fact, I don't want a spoiler and that is to me, so I've already forgotten it. :)

I've pre paid in full, Alan Wake and Splinter Cell:Conviction. Can't wait.

Great interview! Well done :)

hobokiller5588d ago

What does he mean "password"? Is that like a hint that the game will have some sandbox elements?

GiantEnemyCrab5588d ago

Ummm. 1.1 did you just spoil FFXIII here?

If so that is really lame and that should not be happening here.

On topic: I agree this is a great interview and the question about the open world aspect is interesting. So you see a light a mile down the road and you can walk it or drive it? Interesting.. Sounds like it has some of that open world still in it.

And the secret surprise is interesting.. I wonder if somewhere in the game you can use that password and unlock something?

I can't wait for this game.

Great job Gamescares!

Bigpappy5588d ago

You have to say the right thing to get access. Like when Sam Fisher tells the guy "you didn't say monkey" then snaps his neck.

Inside_out5588d ago

I hate spoilers...BUT...this sure does get you thinking...hidden society?..Passwords?.. Whats it all mean...May seems so far...lol

Kind of a goody story...

On a serious note, that is why I try activating gift cards asap. It's happened to me where the store didnt scan it right where the card was unusuable. Happened at Wally World.

gigoran8436d ago

wait, that place is real? national lampoon wasn't kidding?

Tacoboto435d ago

I just bought two of the MonsterVerse Godzilla movies on 4K - both had digital copies expiring in 2023. Both were actually expired.

I'd be surprised but it's WB, of course they'd actually expire them

Knightofelemia436d ago

Usually most of those redemption card have an expiry date on them. If they expired all buyer did was buy recycled paper. And some of those codes are country locked to certain countries. I buy a card from the States I can't use it in Canada.

Chocoburger436d ago

Dumb and silly story. She wasted her money for no reason.

Is it really that hard to go to Steam or GOG. She spent $240, when its currently 70% off on GOG, and only costs $4.49.

Gee, I wonder, should I spend $240 on eBay, or $4.49 on GOG? 🙄

Rynxie436d ago

Most likely she wanted to resell a few or most of them. However, it was a too good to be true situation.

Profchaos436d ago

So in short she paid $240.00 assuming usd for a bunch on unactivated game codes.

I still don't understand why I guess cause there's not a physical version and she wanted something for a collection or art project.

Rynxie436d ago

No, most likely to resell. However, she ended up getting screwed.

Asplundh436d ago

This is Alan Wake 1, it had physical copies.

A thermos is upending the Alan Wake community

Remedy has Alan Wake merch on sale, including a pretty blue thermos. Unfortunately, things haven’t gone according to plan, and many players who want a thermos find themselves without one, though it does appear that Remedy is attempting to fix things. Nevertheless, it has resulted in a lot of upset, illustrating just how much the thermos means to Alan Wake fans.
