Free Games on ANY Nintendo DS (DS, DS Light, DSi)

Alright, this is a simple and cheap how-to guide. This will cost you little more than the price of one game, and it’s quite worth it.

First, you’re going to need what’s called a "slot-1 card." This is something that looks just like a NDS cart that you will load the games on. There’s many choices, and I’m gonna help you make your decision.

Do you just want something that will just work with all games and most homebrew? If so, the Acekard 2i is for you. If you do get this one, you MUST install the following firmware: AKAIO. This firmware allows you to play all the games without the errors of the official firmware. Trust me, it’s good stuff.

Now there’s also other slot-1 cards that supposedly do more, but you SHOULD be able to do everything with the Acekard 2i.
