PS3 outselling Wii and 360 in Australia: SCEA head

Last week, Nintendo Australia was shouting from the rooftops about the success of the Wii down under, with the console becoming the fastest to reach 100,000 units sold down under. Now Sony Computer Entertainment Australia (SCEA) has gone on the offensive, with managing director Michael Ephraim saying the PlayStation 3 has been the number one selling next-gen console in the country since its launch, outselling the Wii and the Xbox 360 almost every week

it was just a matter of time. when the ps3 gets rolling nothing is gonna stop it. price drop, games etc will lead to many ps3s getting sold. its already begun enough said

but a big Silverback gorilla, breathing softly in the bush....ready to shake the ground at any moment. What a day it's gonna be when this is actually worth reporting. But then again 50,000 PS3 owning Aussies is really saying something for a $600 system with no games 8P. I'm still struggling to see how this is "bad"

Thats pretty awesome. Even though I'm a gamer, I really do hope that the PS3 wins this battle because 360 fans are too out of control with BS on the PS3 and how low they put SONY down. I hope MS is put out of their misery. All 3 consoles will be successful.

i hate to burst the bubble but 'if' PS3 is leading could it be because Wii has no stock? just asking. and by the way, i love PS3 and my proof is i got 3 bubbles... like the rest of us.. he he heh! q:

I was at wally world about a day ago and the shelves were full of wiis, they are still there today.

So, at least where I'm at the Wii sales are slowing down.
