Kelowna.com: Playing motion-controlled video games may help stroke victims recover their motor skills more successfully than other recreational activities like playing cards or balancing blocks, says a new study.

Canadian researchers announced Thursday the results of a small pilot project that shows stroke victims who played games on the Nintendo Wii – a video game system known for its motion controller, may speed up rehabilitation for patients’ trying to regain control over their arms and hands.
