There's no doubt about it, GSC Game World thought the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series as a trilogy by developing the games with the same proprietary graphical engine X-Ray and releasing them consecutively year after year. The first installment was a unique experience in terms of story and graphics making it a milestone in FPS genre. The second one takes place before Shadow of Chernobyl events in the same post apocalyptic environment called Zone. While it brought some new changes in terms of gameplay mechanics, the product was extremely unpolished making its debut into the top of most frustrating games ever.
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is about to launch and we've noticed player counts for the original trilogy spiking in anticipation.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.
