Starcraft 2 Beta: CPU benchmarks – Core i5/i7 leading

PCGames Hardware tested the performance of 13 processors in the Starcraft 2 Beta. According to their results Intel’s Core i5 and Core i7 deliver the best performance, but AMD’s Phenom II CPUs can deliver good framerates at a better price-performance-ratio. The Beta also uses two cores only – the Q6600 (quad-core) is only little faster than the E6600 (dual-core).
