Major Nintendo announcement today
Nintendo expected to officially unveil WiiWare, a new Wii channel for original downloadable games.
Words is doing the rounds that later today Nintendo will officially announce details of WiiWare, where original games will be sold through the Wii Shop Channel for Wii Points.
It’s a bit like Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network.
According to Newsweek, Nintendo isn’t only after WiiWare titles from big publishers like Ubisoft and Sega, it’s also begging for content from indie developers.
