ESG Review: Stalker: Call of Pripyat

The Stalker series created by GSC Game World are considered amongst the most highly regarded titles for PC gamers. Not only does it have a cult following around the world but it has also garnered commercial success as it has sold over 2 million copies respectively. Stalker: Call of Pripyat is the third entry of the series, although it’s actually a sequel of the first title – Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. The Stalker series has always been known for a few things; the first being very buggy upon initial release, but more importantly its well known for providing one of the most atmospheric gameplay seen across any platform. Not only does Stalker: Call of Pripyat break the curse of being buggy, but it wins the title of being the best of the series.
