Of the three campaigns, the Colonial Marine has obviously received the most work. Not only the lengthiest, but also the basis for delivering a story upon which both the Xenomorph and Predator campaigns rely upon, the Colonial Marine’s game is actually better between events than at major turning points. The dark corridors with only the tick of your motion tracker for company easily create an atmosphere of impending doom, and the moment that tick turns to a beep your heart starts racing. As if it were aware of your disposition, the rate increases as the enemies draw near, bleeping with ever-shrinking intervals, building your anticipation of what horrors will be round the next corner.
