Facehugger tail snapped? Aliens vs. Predator Hunter Edition Facehugger Replacement Program launched

Aliens vs. Predator just shipped this week for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. If you were lucky enough to secure a pre-order of the Aliens vs. Predator Hunter Edition, but were unlucky enough to have received a Facehugger with a broken tail, this is for you.

Some customers are reporting on forums such as Amazon.com, avpgalaxy.net and SEGA.com that their Facehugger arrived broken. "When I took it out, two sections of the hugger’s tail were almost completely broken off. This is definitely a problem with how this was packaged," said one customer on Amazon.com. It’s a problem that may sound familiar to gamers and Limited Edition collectable packages, as a similar issue happened with the original BioShock Limited Edition’s Big Daddy Figures.

The good news is SEGA has reacted quickly to offer a replacement. SEGA has initiated the Facehugger Replacement Program if you’ve received a broken Facehugger in your PS3 or Xbox 360 Aliens vs. Predator Hunter Edition.
