Atlus U.S.A., Inc. has announced that Shiren the Wanderer for Wii, the new entry in the Shiren series, is now available in retailers across North America.
Game Rant talks to Spike Chunsoft about bringing back the classic Shiren the Wanderer series with new title The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island.
Game runs perfectly on the steamdeck via Yuzu. Crazy hard though, hardest entry in the series, would recommend dice of fate as the funnest mechanics are unlocked right away and not locked behind postgame like serpentcoil.
With Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon out on the Nintendo 3DS last year and Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate gracing Vitas two weeks ago, you may have developed a taste for tough-as-nails dungeon-crawlers. Roguelikes are on the rise. But then, when it comes to these Spike Chunsoft joints, they always have been.

With all the kick ass wii games out right now. This is one of those quality titles most gamers are going to ignore. I mean the only reason I know about it is because i stay up on what's availible... most people who game on wii have lives and just buy what looks best at the time. This will get absolutely no advertising and will blend right in with the shovelware... sad.
