In a fantasy world devastated and scorched by powerful dragons, you will rise from the ashes a hero. But to fight fire with fire, you must find the pieces of the Dragon Blade - a sword that contains the soul and abilities of a dragon - and unleash a power unlike any seen before! Created specifically for the Nintendo Wii, Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire is a 3rd person action-adventure game where players unleash the supernatural powers of a magical dragon, creating a unique and visually stunning weapon through their sword and arms.
Sometimes you have to slog through the beginning of a video game, hoping and assuming that the first level or two of bland and boring gameplay will lead to something better.
Surely a game couldn't hit the market and sell for about $50 if it was really that dull and underwhelming?
Unfortunately, sometimes first impressions are accurate. And the final word on "Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire" for the Nintendo Wii from D3 Publisher of America is that it's just as bad as it seems.
What promise? It was worse looking than a N64 game, had terrible camera and level design and more problems.
Well when first announced a lot of Wii owners were thrilled of the consept of this game. I was one of them. Sadly this game should not be bought and you can quote me on that. Bad game I bought it and ugh...
Gamespot hands Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire a 4.0 declaring it a wimpy action game easy on the wrist, but hard on the eyes.
I think it's a bit too much. I mean, it's a full $50 game and yet looks like a PSone game ripping of God Of War and failing. If this disaster gets a 4 then Conan should get 11 out of 10.
that sucks for wii owners, but i really havent heard about this game til now, so hmmmm unless im wrong, but i dont think alot of people were watching for this one
Sure, the PS3 and 360 have Devil May Cry 4, but the fortunate Wii owners get something entirely original - in theory and in name, at least - in the form of Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire. It takes elements of action RPGs of yore and tosses them together in a very pretty, if strictly linear, fantasy setting. Add to this a whole bunch of flaming weapons and a lot of cool effects and you have yourself a tasty proposition and our immediate attention.
"Original Storyline Exclusively On The Wii – Original story by Richard A. Knaak, one of the best-selling authors behind the immensely popular DragonLance series as well as other popular series based on Warcraft, Diablo, and the Age of Conan."
Now I know I will get this game.
DragonLance is awesome!
about as generic a description as it gets. Seriously, even Red Steel's description was like "puts the sword in your hands through the stunning Wii remote" or something like that.
I want this game though
