As many Nintendo fans know, Xenoblade was originally called Monado: Beginning of the World. Satoru Iwata explained the game's name change at Nintendo's latest financial briefing:
During today’s Nintendo Direct, the company announced the new fighters entering the ring in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! Announced with a new trailer is Xenoblade’s Pyra and Mythra! Check out the trailer below which features gameplay, with the characters dropping this March!

Not really a fan of the "xeno" series, aside from Xenogears. Looks like the best RPG on the Wii, imo, though. I'll pass judgment once I catch wind of the story.
I wonder if they changed the title to see if fans of Gears/Saga would bite.
