Top 10 MMORPG Games (January 2010)
Chart-Box has compiled a list of the Top 10 MMORPG’s currently in the market space. They have used the 10 most active MMO’s from the last 30 days based on the number of active players. They then combined the average Metacritic score, and "User Score" for each game, calculating the average; ranking the games accordingly.
Chart-Box have based their Top 10 on the number of active players rather than the most well known or well marketed, allowing for accurate and fair results and also acknowledge that an MMO can grow over time with new expansions and patches, and so have used each games latest (or best reviewed) release and score to derive thier results.
