PopCap Games to Donate 100% of Revenue from PopCap.com to Haiti

PopCap Games has today announced a very generous charitable effort running today on their official website. Every single penny spent at PopCap.com today (excluding applicable taxes) will be donated to Partners in Health, as aid to the recovery efforts in Haiti.

I'm sure they appericate it, but at the moment they have bigger things to worry about than how many western gamers buy games. I have no idea what it's like to be in their situation and I'm greatful for that. I hope that the western world can help. I was disgusted at the treatment of New Orleans, regardless of skin colour, faith or location if a person needs help they should damn well get it.

'I don't care if they appreciate it or not, they have a bigger problems than like when will I get my next meal, is the water safe, will it rain. What that "means" is that I want to see the Haitian people thank the world for the incredible support that is being given to them when this is all said and done.

I am tired of hearing people from third world armpits complain about civilized societies, especially after an outpouring of support like we are seeing now.

I don't care if that sounds harsh and offends you. Far too often the good of other people seems to go unnoticed, and I for one am sick of it.

There is never a good excuse not to show appreciation towards those that help you.
