Back in the late 80's, there were 2 blockbuster sci-fi flicks that really defined the genre during that time period. They were James Cameron's Alien and John McTieman's Predator. Both movies were huge successes and spawned many sequals as well as crossovers. If you have never heard of either of these franchises before, here's a brief history.
