Hah! I like DiabloLand :)

Holyknight30005609d ago

I thought it was rather clever too!

Cogo5609d ago

I remember they had trouble getting enough drawings for this one, at least good ones, and people made "BlizzardLands" mainly, so the individual winners must have been one of quite few...

toaster5609d ago (Edited 5609d ago )

Diablo Land and rainbow mod are the best. I remember there was a screenshot of a pony pooping a rainbow somewhere...

[EDIT] Aha!! Love spree.

Holyknight30005609d ago

The videos for the Archivist had me rolling with laughter. The old man moaning sounds as he blew things up and then killed himself in the end!

Cogo5609d ago

It's definitely one of the better April Fool's jokes they have ever done :)

Fyzzu5609d ago

Absolutely. Much as I loved the Atari 2600 Molten Core thing, the Archivist was just so well done.

Holyknight30005609d ago

I thought he was worth adding to my fiery rune wallpaper series.

I killed a diablo once. It was my face

Recka5609d ago

The archivist, one of my favourite April fools, right up there with the bard and Molten Core, the console game :P

Holyknight30005609d ago

Agreed that was there better april fools stuff, dont forget the transformers based terran base robot thingy for SC2!

Leord5609d ago

Oh! I forgot about the Molten Core thing!

Holyknight30005609d ago

that one had me laughing a good bit. I remember playing in the molten core in wow, so that added even more classic laughter.

Bethesda is better than ever under Xbox.

Here´s hoping they will transition from Creation Engine to UE5 or UE6 for TES VI and Fallout 5 the same way they did with Oblivion Remastered

andy853h ago

Better than ever? They've released an average game in Starfield and an absolute disaster in Redfall. Now don't get me wrong I love Oblivion but "under Xbox"? they've prettied up a game the actual talent created 20 years old and have since left. Stellar new experiences remain to be seen for that better than ever tag.

Would Bethesda still be the same without Creation Engine? I play Bethesda games for their “charm” no need to make them use the same tools as everyone else. You’re right though, they’re on fire atm. Hopefully they deliver another classic with ES6

Also the Skyblivion team invited to Bethesda Studios, now that is a dev I can respect.

Unlike some other studios who are pieces of shit along with Nintendo.

It's definitely closer to a remake as well and for only $50 when they definitely could've charged $70 and still sell very well because of the name. Good on bethesda.

Imagine what RDR2 remaster would do. If the rumors are true about Red Dead and GTA4 remake just buy Take 2 stock now
