Ace Combat 6 Joystick Revealed

An image has surfaced today of a new Xbox 360 Joystick designed for use in upcoming flight-sim Ace Combat 6, and Totally360 brings it to you first!

I have the wireless racing wheel and the thing is top notch quality. It's durable, and it controls great.
This should be no surprise coming from Microsoft as they have good experience with joysticks for the PC.
I'm not a big flight sim fanatic, but that new controller looks pretty bad-ass, and if the wheel is anything to judge by, I'm sure it works great.

I was just thinking how this game needed a flight stick ...literally about 15 min ago...and then this. I see the cord but wonder if thats a power cord similar to the wheel or if it actually needs to be plugged into the unit. I hope it gets a wireless version.

Yea I will be getting this to get my FULLEST enjoyment out of this game.

I want it so bad. Almost as bad as I want Halo 3, or even this format war to be over...damn, now thats some serious wanting.

A joystick and throttle control are pretty similar, regardless of brand and stying...
That's like calling the MS wheel a rip off of every other wheel and pedal setup...
It's going to look similar, there's only so much you can do to styling without comprimising functionality.

They are identical save the top buttons on the stick. The front strap on the stick is very telling, the palm rest on the throttle too.

This thing will kick some major a$$---I'd really like to see a review of the game with and without flightstick. While I'd prefer cordless (who wouldn't?), I'm content to go with the cord-- I just hope my kids don't come running by and rip it out by accident. gCM

Guys, also don't forget "Microsoft Flight Simulator" game has been a round for a while, so I'm sure this controller should fare well.

hey, remember this Joystick from "Steel Battalion"? the game actually got decent reviews...Now that's really putting you in the C#ckpit.

They ARE the same except for the color, & the buttons on the top of the stick. The lights & screws & everything are in the same place. And the X45 is less than $100, not $150 like the want for this green one.
