When it comes down to it, probably the most important thing about Bayonetta is its genre. Bayonetta fits into the Extreme Action genre, the same genre as the well known titles Ninja Gaiden, God of War and Devil May Cry. The extreme action genre is known for its exceptional battle systems, massive screen filling enemies and stylish fighting. It can be divided further into Western and Japanese varieties, with titles like God of War championing the ranks of the Western side and Devil May Cry and its ilk representing Japan.
The Good bits
Giant variety of moves available from the beginning.
The core gameplay is the very best of its kind.
Easy and Very Easy modes make the game playable by anyone.
The Bad stuff
Unbearable soundtrack.
Preposterous storyline.
Poor characterisation.
The previous three points combine to make the game unplayable by any but fans of the extreme action genre.
Creator of Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, Okami, Viewtiful Joe, and Wonderful 101 comments on how they're all part of the same universe.
I could definitely see a Bayonetta/Dante game. Imagine them initially battling each other before eventually teaming up to take on the big baddies. Now, imagine what their child(ren) would be like.
Bayonetta and Dante I could see but even then with how their lore differs it's a hard sell. For the others...I just can't see it at all.
I feel he's just saying whatever comes to him online
She also played Chun-Li and Major from Ghost in the Shell
oh shit, i did know that the Major voice actress passed away but i didnt know she voiced bayonetta too

The creator of the Bayonetta franchise Hideki Kamiya appeared in an interview and discussed the plans for the future of the series.
hmmmm i guess everybody is going to call them PS3 fanboys
what the f???? this game never ever deserves a 5/10. this is jsut stupid. the music is amazing and character is one of the best i have ever played. i mean common what woman puts a gun in the face of a 4 year old child =D bayonetta rules it. Shure the story doesnt tell much but still. its pretty awesome. and you dont have to be a hardcore action fan you just have to be a gamefan.
pretty horrible review. he compares the game with scrubs, internet and itunes. i mean come on. really? how exactly are you going to combine those three to make it a game?
