Haha, Old Wizard is populated by self-identified Nintendo fanboys. In past articles they've vocally denounced fans of SEGA's past systems, most notably, the Genesis/MegaDrive, when discussing both SNES and Genesis. I, myself am an old school SEGA fan, but I loved both systems. The Genesis for it's damned great arcade games, and the SNES for it's more in depth games like JRPGs. The SNES also had great games like the original (and my favourite in the series) Super Mario Kart. It doesn't surprise me, they'd rate the newest Mario game to their max rating. They are kind of biased. :)

...and it's been a long time since they've shown their ugly heads around here, and I honestly think it's because they're hardcore Nintendo Fanboys who haven't really had anything good to write about until New SMB was released.

They spend the first few paragraphs of this article bringing up Sega and how much they think they suck.

Seriously, if you can take a game that's 100% Nintendo, and find a way to constantly knock against Sega into it, then I can only surmise that this reviewer not only sucks at life, but is deservedly hated by almost everyone he knows.

"Sega on the other hand continues to be on our sh!t list and will still not be allowed to make a new system" Says who? You? Like you're anybody really special.

And way to take a swipe at Killzone 2, the game came out like a f**king year ago. I'm sorry, but this really burns my ass to see sh!t like this still getting approved at N4G.

This wasn't so much a game review as it was some little turd pissing and moaning about Sega.....again. I vote we bar anything from Old-Wizard ever being approved here again.

I think what everyone's trying to say is you're taking this too seriously. I highly doubt the intention of the review was to be a serious review like one you'd see on IGN. Its meant to be funny, not informative.

Kombo gave it a much deserved 10 as well. The game is a 2D classic and the gameplay is near perfection.
