Rundlc: Qix ++ Review
Not every retro game deserves a revamp. There are a few long-lost gems better left in the past, since contemporary changes mess with the formula. This is the case with Qix + +, Taito’s latest revival for Xbox Live. While there are some interesting ideas at play, they never click.
So, here’s how the game works. It’s similar to the original Qix, an arcade hit from the early 80s. You use a little ship-like icon to draw lines within an enclosed area. With each line you complete, the closed-in space fills up, making the left-over space even smaller.
