"Playing WipEout HD Fury was an extremely nostalgic affair, reminding me of the heady days of the original PlayStation and my very first experience with that console in WipEout XL/2097, the second ever entry to the futuristic anti-gravity racing series that has seen a limited number of sequels over the years after its release.
I've since revisited XL/2097 a few times to get a dose of what is always a pulse-pounding and exhilarating racing experience, which entails hurtling through winding tubes and concave tracks under the glare of neon signs, arching neo metropolis buildings and bizarre structures, which at the time certainly caught my imagination and suggested a fully fleshed out living world just beyond the confines of the twisting race courses, extreme speeds and deadly weaponry of the game's proposed futuristic 'sport.'
Time has not been good to XL/2097 in the graphics department, though, so I was definitely excited when I got the opportunity to revisit one of my formative gaming experiences with WipEout HD Fury, which promised to not only retain what I loved about the franchise in the first place, but also present itself in full, shiny, glamorous high definition graphics and contain tons of new content with both the original WipEout HD and the new Fury expansion included in the package."
YouTube channel Cycu1 has created a video which shows us a side by side comparison of WipEout Omega Collection (PS4 Pro) and WipEout HD Fury (PS3).

So, without further ado, here are my top 10 video game soundtracks – and I can promise you that it’s not just your generic list of games you see on everybody else’s top 10."
God of War series, Alan Wake, Mass Effect series, Bioshock series, Oddworld AO & AE, Castlevania: LoS, Oblivion, Fable 1 & 2, Deus Ex: HR have my favourite OST's.
EuroGamer: "This is a brilliant update that retroactively switches WipEout 2048 from being a competent handheld series entry to being one of the Vita's very best games."
