The new suit is great, but the old one just oozed awesome. It's rare you see orange used for a main characters color scheme.

I hope you can unlock the old one in game somehow. :P

This game was scaaaaryyyyy!!! it was awesome cranking up the volume with surround sound, i could hardly sleep afterwords lol! but i'm really wanting this one and it would be cool to unlock the suit from the first game.

I CANNOT WAIT! Seriously looks bad@$$. The first Dead Space rocked so hard and had amazing graphics. Just get rid of back tracking and give us more boss battles!

hope it's got the horror part right, dead space wasn't as scary as they made it sound like, it felt more like R5 wich wasn't scary at all more like just an action game. scariest game ever to grace the earth is SH everything in it was perfect! Take not from it because everytime I see it playing I feel like I'm going to be cursed.

These screens make me worry that it might not be as scary as the first game, but then again I thought the screens I saw from the first game looked lame, I even thought the demo and short video clips I watched were lame and unscary, then I purchased the full game on a whim. Oh boy, there's nothing quite like actually playing through that game, especially in the dark with headphones on and the sound cranked. I'm guessing this will be the same way, you'll have to be playing through it to really fully get how scary and atmospheric it really is.

To everyone who didn't find this game scary (and not just the ones trying to sound like big boys by lying about it)

Seriously, play it on your own in the dark on a large screen TV with good headphones and the sound cranked. It's like a horror movie, you won't be scared by it if you just slap it on at 1pm while instant messaging your friends and listening to metal music (not that I'm saying you all did that).

This has to be the only game I'd be more interested in hearing sound effects from than seeing screenshots.

is it just me or does the main character look more female then male in that suit (not that its a bad thing), maybe thats the only suit they had left lol.

i thought that as well.

it could be that they are showing the suite in it's early stages before you get lots of upgrades.

if you remember, a lot of the screen shots they showed from DS1, were from the suite at about level 5. I was supprised when i started the game how crap it looked at first and ya he looked a lot less bulky, but as time went on and it upgraded it got cooler and cooler.

maybe they have done the opposite this time round and they are showing the suite at an early stage.

yeah i thought his suit was a bit poor when you first start out then they released the free obsidian suit on ps3 and he looked like a tank.

but yeah i love the eventual upgrades of the suit it makes you feel like your accomplishing something when you build up your suit.
