Resonance of Fate Director Apologizes For Demo Difficulty

The resent Resonance of Fate (aka End of Eternity) demo offers two modes: Newcomer Mode and Normal Mode. The former is a tutorial sorts, although instead of actually instructing players step by step, it merely adds helper icons and text to the screen.

Newcomer Mode was a nice way of assisting players, without interfering with the flow of battle. It seems that other players wanted a bit more explanation though.

In a post at the Resonance of Fate official blog, director Takayuki Suguro responded to player complaints that the demo was tough on newcomers. He admitted this to be the case and apologized.

So why isn't a tutorial in the demo? The reason, explains Suguro, is that demos, like retail products, have to clear an inspection process. The demo was made in parallel with the final version of the game, and they were unable to spend too much effort on it.

its really easy if you do it on newcomer but on normal i only got to 4th stage and the the monster owned me

demo was great got to the boss on normal.

people complainig are those who suck at video games AND /OR haven't downloaded the battle video on the same store witch show pretty much everything .

i watched it BEFORE playing the demo and understood everything i needed to do right from the start ...in the demo

however after I figured out what i was doing (without the help vid) I crushed it. This game was kinda easy, but I am disappointed by the quality of the HD jrpgs across all of the platforms.

This game was a huge disappointment for me.I was hopping for something that would beat FF13 but after seeing my bro playing the demo, all the hope vanquished.
The game is so monotous, you do the same thing over and over again, you kill a bunch of guys in a small area(the environment looks really bad,all the arquitecture of the game is lame)then you have a loading, after the loading you kill some more enemies, and you keep doing this until you get to the boss, its so arcadish.
Why they just implemented guns on these game?That really sucks.
The graphics arent that good, theyre bad to be honest with you, otherwise the overall gameplay experience is not according to my expectations.
Really people, this game could have been great, but they ruined it all up, seriously, WHAT WHERE THEY THINKING?!

I completed the demo too... but got killed several times because I didn't understad well the Resonance system. I don't understand it right know.

Before bashing people have to remember that this is just a demo of the battle system alone, as long as the open world is large and explorable you will not hear me complaining, however if this is linear like this all the way through then yes that could be a problem.
As for the battle system, I figured it out really quickly, and I also though it was a nice change having real time and turn based actions mixed in, plus some of the stunts you can pull off is crazy. I found it very addictive and sometime you even have to think about where you send your character when attacking, because if they move to a position where they can easily get attacked then it soon becomes awkward for you.
I loved the demo and hope the full game represents what I have already played, the only problem I have with it was re-used graphics, linearity and no magic (they could include at least effects into the bullets to have some fancy after effects such as poison etc).
