Gamespot: PS3 wins best shooter, best action/adventure, best platformer and best RPG.

For their game of the year awards, Gamespot awarded Killzone 2 with the best shooter, Uncharted 2 with the best action/adventure, Rachet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time with the best platformer, and Demon’s Souls with the best RPG of 2009. All of these titles are exclusive to Sony’s Playstation 3. These are arguably the four most popular genres in the console market.
