Gaming Age: Bit.Trip Void Review
If you at any time have ever had a small explosion of happiness in a 2D shoot ’em up at the sight of a screen full of bullets then you’re in for a special treat. Bit.Trip Void is the embracement of the bullet hell which populated out arcades in days of yore. Then again it could also be seen as the $6 version of any internet flash game that asks you to avoid the plentiful amount of targets onscreen until you die. Since that takes the life and soul away from a warm and inviting 8-bit themed game, let’s ignore the latter comparison and stick with the first one. That is pretty much what the game is, for better or worse.
