1UP Reviews: Shadowrun

First and foremost, Shadowrun is a game of ifs. If you can justify paying full price for a multiplayer-only game ($60 on 360, $50 on PC), if you have a Live gold subscription (360 requires it, PC only requires it to play cross-platform), if you can set aside preconceived notions about the pacing and complexity of first-person shooters, and if you can find a cooperative and communicative group of regulars to play'll have a hell of a lot of fun.

More on the jump.

The story is too old to be commented.

ummmm... I'll buy it when a $40 used copy is for sale in Gamestop.

Notice the trend, this game get low scores because of the price and little content. I bet Microsoft Game Studios dosn't do somthing like that again. Hell I bet this game would have got Killer App score if it had loads of content, maybe 6 more months in development adding content. It's one hell of a fun game, it doest justice for the gamers who thought taking it out of the RPG would sink it (looks like the price is doing that) The only hopes I have for reviving this game is loads and I mean LOADS of "FREE" downloadable content. If they don't then it's going to hurt keeping this franchise alive do to it's high cost.
