Fatal bug in Assassin’s Creed 2

When you save the game directly after finishing chapter 11, and you quit the game, then you probably have a pretty big problem. The next time you start the game you will start in the hideout level with nobody around you. Ubisoft advise: do not quit out of the game after that particular checkpoint.
