This exciting trailer was first shown during the Gamescon event, revealing NCsoft and ArenaNet's plans for Guild Wars II. While the trailer does showcase a tiny bit of gameplay, (some of the very impressive locales players will be able to visit in the game proper), there isn't much else, save for some nice English story narration and stylized images and artwork.
The release date and other details have been revealed for The Complete Art of Guild Wars.
Guild Wars is an MMORPG that has been in maintenance mode with no official support for years, but the game's economy is fairly stable, most PvP activities are still accessible and even Auction House-like services exist - thanks to bots.
Now here is a pleasant surprise. ArenaNET has released a brand new patch for the first Guild Wars game, adding some new graphics settings/options. According to the release notes, this new update adds support for windowed Fullscreen, a new 8X MSAA anti-aliasing option, and a new “Advanced” option checkbox.
