360 main builds of multiplatform titles aren't suitable for multiplatform translation. But because they're easier, the 360 was out first, devs do them anyway.

The 360 is nothing but old PC parts. Developers are already accustomed to working with the hardware, because the technology is just so old.

As for it looking better in most games, you should stop believing everything you read on the internet. The procedure used to capture screenshots in these comparisons are no where reflective of the final product, and the PS3 still manages to beat out the 360 very often.

And really, look at the exclusives, the 360 can't compete with launch titles on the PS3.

Have you guys even looked at the photos? First of all they aren't side by side for comparison and second of all they look pretty much teh same to me. Seems the media new way of hating on Sony is to smear the Ps3 versions of games, since they don't have anything else hate with. Bullets are all running out. And people still believe this crap. Seriously who really thinks about these things when actually playing a game? Unless one version is absolutely unplayable it don't matter one bit. These sites that do this are a bunch of fantards. How about give us some real info on the game instead of a poorly done and useless comparison. Also "seemingly". They don't even have any conviction in what they say and won't 100% back it up. It honestly doesn't matter that there's only minor differences between them, the media just runs with, "inferior PS3 version."

Just look at the thing with Netflix. Where every game site was reporting how much a game changer having it on XBL, the number of users, there has yet to be one actual article about it on the PS3 even though everywhere you turn someone's either ordering the disc or even canceling XBL accounts.

The main reason why multi plat games look better on 360 is because the 360 has superior and more accesable hardware for devopers. The difference in power between the 2 consoles isnt even that big. Matter of fact I think the 360 may be slightly higher from what I saw with Resi5 and GoW2

There's virtually no difference. just the usual ps3 looking slightly lighter and slightly more blurry which is something that you don't notice in game anyway.

It is clear that both versions are identical. The PS3 screen shots look like someone smeared them out with a blur effect in photoshop. I looks the same as the 360 but tampered with. It is fuzzy to the point it is hard to look at cause everything is out of focus. So thank you again for proving that the only way to make people think games look better on the 360 is to dish out this blatant tampered photos.

Woah... I was prepared to admit the shots look virtually identical. But if you look at the colors in that one dude's facial hair, you can really tell a difference.

I'm calling it for Xbox on THAT particular shot, but the rest look indistinguishable, especially in motion.

This is very true but then again it's Sonys fault for making it tough on developers to program for it. The media is on PS3 because Sony claimed it would have visuals 4 times better than 360 and here we have amazing looking multiplats (brink and rage) on the way and now exclusives (Alan Wake and Rage)I hope on par with anything PS3. All the doom stuff about ps3 is retarded and hopefully as gamers we one day stop talking it down.

From what I can see in those low res screenshots, game is pretty much the same if anything it's bit smoother and blurrier on the PS3. Nothing to brag about.

But as long as the 360 is the lead build for multiplatform, especially with games like Brink and Rage, the only way the PS3 will be able to grow is through exclusives. That's why I'm pissed off about FFXIII going multi. Versus will likely confirm that XIII could have been better.

As for Alan Wake, the game coming out is not the one shown on a high end PC years ago. Its not even a PC game now. The 360 has constraints that are only going to negatively impact developement as the industry tries to grow.

I think the PS3 shots look better. Don't know why nobody else does... The 360 shots are too sharp, maybe the metal body of the car look non-metallic, while the softer PS3 shot gives a much nicer, metallic look.

In the end a halfway decent PC wins out over both console versions. Since this, like DA, is being released for the PC and look far better on the PC, I think I will just go with that version.

After being a PS3 owner for 2 and a half years and switching back to Xbox 360 exclusively for work reasons, I can safely say that the PS3 is definitely an extremely capable machine in the visuals and sound department.

Its exclusive games prove that, and there is no denying that PS3 exclusive titles are more than enough to prove that Sony wasn't just blowing smoke up everyone's asses when they said the system was a beast. It is.

While I do appreciate the overall better detail on 360 versions of multiplatform titles, I am fully aware of the PS3's ability to push visuals and sound, and I'm not going to let bad PS3 ports tell me otherwise.

The proof is in the pudding, as they say.

Apart from fanboy bragging rights, most of these comparisons mean nothing to me. Sometimes the differences are so minor that changing a few settings on the TV helps out. I do agree that most multi-plats do have an edge on the 360 due to a simpler architecture, but recently most games like MW2, AC2 and all big titles look 99% identical.

Besides, if I were seeking the best version, I would always buy a PC version, but sometimes games like RE5,AC2 don't release early on PC and so have to go with the console versions....

As far as PS3 and 360 is concerned, I am willing to get the best looking exclusives with 1% inferior multi-plats as opposed to the opposite. Most huge titles now a days tend to look identical and it's not going to go backwards isn't it?

The PS3 version cost the same as the 360 version, but we get a lower quality version. How can they justyfy delivering a lower quality version?

Both versions look MEH. Like all the PS3 version has is a bit more bloom, so it is funny watching 360 owners make a big deal out of it when most games on 360 overuse it.

Don't listen to 360 fanboys, view the photos for yourself. Click the original source on both the PS3 and 360 shots and tab back and forth. If you do so, you will notice that the game is mostly identical. The developers have done a great job. The only difference that I am noticing is that the 360 shots seem to have that vaseline effect making the PS3 shots sharper and clearer. Take a look at the first shot. Which system shows the hair on the back of the guys hair clearer? PS3. Furthermore, the 360 version has more jagges. Take a look at the 2nd pair of shots on the 2nd page. Look at the jagges on the guys ears in the 360 shots, the PS3 shots don't have jagges, their edges are smooth. It also looks like the PS3 version has better shadows in that same picture. I honestly think the PS3 wins this battle.

IMO the PS3 looks better, i've seen comparisons of games in which the 360 version does look slightly better than PS3, but not on this game. Great job EA...and the game is not that bad, IMO 7.5/10, i haven't played that much yet though, maybe once you unlock more perks, it gets better

people look at the colours in the pictures actually the 360 is the worse in this one ps3 version has darker and richer colours where i noticed the 360 looks to have a grey white look to it. i like the the bloom on ps3 so im not complaining it hides more of the jaggiez where the 360 suffers alot from in most of their games. sharper graphics doesnt mean better graphics lol. bloom is so much better in this one 360 got bad colour depth and again i say it looks way to white

I was recently bought a 360. and some games look nice etc, but shadows look bad in some games, although some do look nice, i don't think the 360 will ever trump the ps3 in the visual or sound dept.

The reason most 360 fans think the 360 is better is simply because of early piss poor ports and lack of aa of anykind.

Don't get me wrong, the 360 can produce nice visuals, and i expect some newer game engines to acheive that.

I still like the look of FORZA3 even if imo it does not look as good as GT5P.

Also its a fact that dragon age looks a little bit better as the 360 version but EVERY magazine gave the 360 the better score caus ethe PS3 version von Dragon Age runs with 20-25 FPS, while the 360 version runs with 30 FPS.

Just get it droids! The only games you can play are your flop exclusives the rest of the games (around 120 games each year) are multiplattform and run and look better on the 360.

So keep waiting for ya crap exclusives while we play the best games.

I have both games on 360 and PS3 the only difference is load up times (faster on ps3) and slightly better controls (360- just the feel of the stick so this is MY opinion)
