NWR writes: "Cooking Mama 3: Shop and Chop is the latest DS entry in the great-selling Cooking Mama series. Originating on the DS in 2006, Mama has had four DS games, including this new entry, two Wii games, and an iPhone port. As of May 2009, the series has sold more than four million units in the U.S. The latest game in the series is quite possibly the best yet."

My personal favourite is the chef from Breath of Fire II who tries to BBQ you.
Not mentioning anybody from the Ar Tonelico games is blasphemy. Only they could come up with "tasty" things like BBQ Soda.
With the launch of Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic later this month, it got us in the GGUK office to thinking about new directions that Mama can take in the future, new games which she could be part of. It all started with some fairly sensible ideas…
CFD!'s Aubrey Klanecky takes a look at Mama's third DS excursion:
"I can’t cook. Period.
"Okay, that may be an exaggeration, but really, I’m terrible at cooking. My ability stops at Hamburger Helper, and even then I have a bad habit of messing that up. So it may come as a surprise that I LOVE Cooking Mama. I borrowed the first game from CFD!’s EIC, Rob Thomas, out of boredom, and fell in love. However, by the second one, I found that the honeymoon was quite over. While I enjoyed playing it, it was the same old thing over and over again. Cutting up vegetables, stirring the pot… there was nothing new! No innovation! So I was wary when I heard that the third installment of the DS series was coming out. How did it fare?
