'Must have' Xbox360 Games This Christmas

Today just in time for the start of the holiday season, the villain gaming community has compiled a list of the must have Xbox360 games this Christmas.

Including the titles in no particular order: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2,Assassin's Creed II,Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, Halo 3: ODST, Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, Left 4 Dead 2, Fallout 3, Forza Motorsport 3, FIFA 10, and Need for speed: Shift.

I wouldn't say any of them are must-have to be honest....

Nambassa5674d ago

Well, apart from Fallout 3, and maybe NFS. (Multiplatforms)

Bumpmapping5674d ago

Haha.Best games on that list are the multiplatforms.

Troll_Police5674d ago (Edited 5674d ago )

They're right, Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 are must haves. I have them on my PS3. No Xbox exclusives are must haves this year.

RockmanII75674d ago (Edited 5674d ago )

That's funny, I don't think their are any PS3 exclusives that are 'Must Have' this holiday season.

Saaking5674d ago

Same list as most. A nearly full list of multiplats.

Nicaragua5674d ago

Dont be a chump - Killzone 2, Uncharted 2 and Demon's Souls are all must haves.

5674d ago
RockmanII75674d ago

Killzone 2 - Reason I said 'Holiday Season' and not year. You should already own Killzone 2.

Uncharted 2 - Not a big 3rd person shooter fan. Same reason why I don't like GTA/Gears.

Demons Souls - I already know that it will be to hard for me an I would hate it. Surprisingly enough, I enjoy winning.

Saaking5674d ago

It's your opinion man, but if you don't like TPS you're gonna miss out on a LOT of great games.

dgroundwater5674d ago (Edited 5674d ago )

There are enough multiplats to keep Xbox 360 thriving through the holidays. It's the first half of next year that is exclusive heaven.

Maddens Raiders5674d ago (Edited 5674d ago )

GTA:EFLC
Forza 3
ODST
&
L4D2

...not sure I would call that list "must have" necessarily, but you've got to say/do something during the holiday selling season and this is what MS is doing. I'm not sure why they mentioned the other titles, as it is a bit embarrassing.

Halo3 MLG Pro5674d ago

Damn it's the Attack of the Sony trolls!!!!

-Alpha5674d ago

Learn the definition of expansions. EFLC are exclusive STANDALONE games, not expansions. Hell they feature more content than most games, and the same goes for ODST.

The fanboys attacking the 360 are hilarious this year. It was only a couple years ago that Sony was in this position but of course PS3 fans had all kinds of excuses, yet they fail to realize that the PS3 was still great back then and it's no different for the 360.

The 360 has four games you can't get on a PS3, one of them being a PC game, yet all some of you can do is knock down the games for logically incoherent excuses like "Lulz, expansion".

The PS3 is the victor in exclusives this year but to say that the 360 has no must haves this year is laughable.

Maddens Raiders5674d ago (Edited 5674d ago )

not sure this is an "attack" per se, more than just people pointing out the obvious difference between what's considered "must have" for a particular console, as opposed to games that are unique to a console and can't be played *anywhere else.

someone got a little happy with the delete button. lol

why did you guys delete my or alpha males's comments? there weren't even cross words (fanboyish) between us at all...? that's weird..

RockmanII75674d ago

@Saaking

I realize that their are a lot of great 3rd person shooters, I just don't have much fun playing them. I guess I am a very picky gamer because their are a lot of genres that I dislike.

PS - Thank you for letting me have a opinion.

iron_sheik5674d ago

It has 96% at meta and is better than all x360 exclusives

KZ2 is also an AAA - 91 at meta and so are MLB , Demon souls

you are right .nothing on x360 is worth getting in 2009 maybe but if you want the best game of 2009 then you have to get ps3 and Uncharted 2 --96% at meta and sure goty 2009

-Alpha5674d ago

I can understand HolyOrangeCows and my comments to him (even though I thought it was a fair argument we were having) but the one between you and I was much more civil. Hell I even gave you a thumbs up despite not entirely agreeing with you because you were level-headed.

Guess it was too heated lol.

Guido5673d ago

Talk about weaksauce for the 360. Hopefully they do a better job of securing some better exclusives for 2010.

Give us FO3 with all the dlc remastered like ESO. Load times faster, quality of life improvements, gun play improvements

I believe it shouldn't just be graphical they should make improvements where they can to make the game better. A simple face lift isn't what's needed

ZeekQuattro50d ago

Still my favorite one. I remember getting a digital copy of FO3 when I got FO4(XBO). It was nice to finally play a stable version of the game. Then when I got a Series S it was an even better expierence. Quick resume and FPS boost made it feel like a whole new game. Updated gunplay would be very welcome though. One of the few things FO4 did better.

The rumoured Fallout 3 Remaster is still in development, but it will be years until fans get to play it on new platforms.

New Vegas and Morrowind should have been first!

Christopher58d ago

Fairly certain we all know that New Vegas isn't getting anything because it's not a Bethesda developed game.

OMGitzThatGuy58d ago

MS owns both devs, if they want it, a 3rd party will make it.

Christopher58d ago

***MS owns both devs, if they want it, a 3rd party will make it. ***

I think the issue is that it's not a Bethesda developed game, not that MS owns both. This is more about Todd.

RaidenBlack57d ago (Edited 57d ago )

Yep ... Todd doesn't like getting bettered within his own IP scope.
I still think of the Elder Scrolls spin-off Obsidian pitched similar to New Vegas, but Todd rejected.

RaidenBlack57d ago (Edited 57d ago )

Replayed NV more than FO3 ... so I appreciate the FO3 remaster more.
For NV, I'd much prefer a sequel or a spinoff from Obsidian.

FTLmaster58d ago

Got a soft spot for Fallout 3, so I'd be down to play this.

-Foxtrot58d ago

It's crazy New Vegas wasn't worked on first to launch alongside Fallout Season 2.

They could have added all the cut content they had planned but didn't have enough development time to add, possibly even expand on it a little more. For example, have the Vegas strip as one big hub over being chopped into smaller sections we have to keep loading into.

neutralgamer199258d ago

Would love a complete remake or sequel with enough resources

Abnor_Mal58d ago

The only Fallout game I’ve played, PS3 had to keep stopping every few minutes to save. Next thing I knew the credits were rolling and I never did any side quest. I never replayed the game because of all the bugs the game had.

Yui_Suzumiya57d ago (Edited 57d ago )

I've played Fallout 3 more than any game. I lost count many years ago of how many times I finished it. It was my first Platinum trophy. But yeah, it was buggy on PS3 at launch before it got properly patched.

anast58d ago

They are only remaking their games that have been streamlined.

Why Assassin's Creed 2 and 3 Had the Best Writing the Series Has Ever Seen

IGN - Assassin's Creed's focus on character-driven storytelling has been buried by its RPG sandbox features, and the series is weaker for it.

RaidenBlack90d ago

A rare W opinion piece from IGN.
IMO, Ubisoft needs to setup two primary AC dev teams. 1 would focus on and release character-driven OG-style AC games for OG fans and the other would continue the current RPG-ified AC style for current fans.
Release by them Bi-annually and alternatively. There'd less fatigue and a boost to quality.

ZeekQuattro90d ago

I definitely appreciate 3 more after playing it again in recent years along with the Liberation game. Back when 3 was new I was still riding high on AC2 and Brotherhood so when I played 3 I felt a bit let down. Even the ship battles grew on me.

-Foxtrot90d ago

AC2 - Yes

AC3 - Urm...I don't know

I feel they kind of dropped the ball with AC3 and with the way the story went it just didn't make sense to me at all. I felt it would have made more sense lore wise if they had it so the Red Coats were mostly Assassins and the Templars were mostly the Colonists who wanted this "new world" as a fresh start for their operations, to build a country up they'd have full control of from the start so they manufacture the war as something else while really it's just a front for the Templars vs Assassins.

It just meant that since the Red coats lose the war it explains how the Templars have gained full control of future America and how the Assassins have slowly died out by then. This entire event would have been the turning point of how things went to s**t for the Assassins and how there's not many of them left in the present.

Haythem was a lot more interesting than Connor and he should have been the main Assassin of AC3.

lucasnooker89d ago (Edited 89d ago )

I thought AC2 was the greatest of the series and it is but replaying it recently, I stared to see more flaws in the game. Basically every single mission is an assassination besides a few tailing missions lol. Still, the implementation of all the new mechanics were great. The smoke bombs, disarming guards, story, hidden tombs, swimming, flying machine, multiple locations, etc. it definitely felt a bit more special to me at the time of release though

isarai89d ago

Dunno about 3, the 1st act was cool, then i couldn't tell you what happens after that. But 2 was so good! The entire acts 1-3 were al memorable, whereas i really couldn't even tell you what happens in any other AC game
