Resolution Magazine writes: "On paper, Manic Monkey Mayhem looks great. It’s a super-simplified third-person deathmatch game with monkeys. But it’s hugely let down by lacking controls for the central gameplay mechanic, and online support is nowhere near the level it should be at. While Manic Monkey Mayhem should be commended for its unique approach and fun multiplayer, it’s really only worthwhile if you have a group of friends close at hand, ones who are willing to forgive its foibles and gradually learn how best to handle the erratic motion control."
