The only problem with the game is the two player mode. Player one has complete control over their character in both moving and shooting. For player 2, you just get another cross hair, without a character on screen. In a way, it's kinda like player 2 is playing a lightgun game without the worry of being hit.
Putting that minor gripe aside, the game is superb, and truly an asset to the Wii's library. The game is currently exclusive to Japan, but will reportedly be getting a release in North America and Europe during the first quarter of 2010, so be on the lookout for Sin & Punishment 2: Successor To The Sky. It's easily one of the best Wii games out right now, and it's leaps and bounds superior to the original.
Samuel Evans: "The Wii had an interesting year releasing most entries in Nintendo's key game lineups. The question is did it payoff on their own system or did third party rule the day?"
Still think that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is overrated. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't the ultimate 10 out of 10 game everyone scored it as. And number 1? Really?
Nerds on the Rocks takes a look at June 2010, not the most eventful month for game releases, but some solid titles do see the light of day.
yea, portable game of the year for sure!, as for console... probably Mass Effect 2.. my(underrated GOTY) probably Metro 2033 or Singularity..
Game-Boyz writes: "Since the early 90's, Treasure has been making some of the most intense action games around, from the moment they first wowed us with Gunstar Heroes on the SEGA Genesis. Silhouette Mirage, Bangai-O, Ikaruga — these guys know how to deliver hardcore thrills. Now they've brought their signature run and gun gameplay to the Wii with Sin & Punishment: Star Successor. A sequel to a cult Nintendo 64 game that was only released in Japan called Sin & Punishment (now available on the Virtual Console), this is a strange choice for Nintendo to publish. Most Treasure and shooter fans alike will be glad the company did though because this could be one of the best Wii games this year."
I got to get this game, has the first one.
The wii has some great fun games getting this for sure
Come on, Nintendo of America, do the right thing. Give us a concrete release date already.
Reminds me of this game I use to play on Sega Saturn. I forgot the name but you play as some dude riding a dragon and shooting monsters. Gameplay looks somewhat similar. I could be wrong.
