Even though Epic Mickey is about a year away, Warren Spector already jokes about what will be in Epic Mickey 2. So during a follow-up interview, I asked Spector the simple, and obvious, question, "is Epic Mickey a stand-alone adventure, or will it be a franchise?"
He bluntly replied, "I don't do anything that isn't extensible. And I will certainly feel like that I have not done my job if we can't make other games in this world with these characters. In my head, I've got two more planned. In the business world of reality, those games have not approved, and who knows if we'll ever see them. I had three games planned for Deus Ex, and you see where that got me."
Priced at £50/$60
I never played the first game but I enjoyed Epic Mickey 2 wish they were also porting the second game.
i liked the second one quite abit, but im glad they are remastering the first one
Despite Walt Disney's mixed history with video games, these games embody the magic of Disney the best.
When you think of Disney and video games, the first image that comes to your head could be a variety of things. Perhaps it's Kingdom Hearts, which remains one of the best Square Enix games due in little part to Disney’s influence.
Otherwise, it could be a classic game, since Disney has been mostly absent from the gaming world lately, save for some mobile ventures. Whether it be a nostalgic adventure with classic characters or a movie tie-in that makes an impression, let’s dust off Disney’s videogame legacy and find those quality standouts.
listen .. Donald Duck in Maui Mallard
and World of illusion are the best disney games.
With the news of Aladdin and Lion King re-releasing, we got to think about nine other games we'd love to see get the same treatment.
Why are you making an article that amounts to the Disney Afternoon Collection? More classic Disney games should be handled like Mickey Castle of Illusion or Ducktales
Quackshot and Gargoyles
They need to bring back the Gargoyles cartoon or do something with that amazing IP
The Lion King and Aladdin treatment? No, that id not a trestment. That is a lazy cashgrab. They should have remade those two like DuckTales was remade.
After being disappointed at the first official screens, especially after the exciting preview and artwork the game was given, I honestly hope it is not a trilogy.
people expect too much too soon and frankly that is just naive. sometimes i just think people will find an excuse to complain about anything and its just annoying. i mean seriously i looked at the oncept art and some of it was wayyyy out there. TELL ME WHEN THE HELL DOES THE CONCEPT ART MATCH THE ACTUAL GAME???? NEVER!!!! CONCEPT ART IS MEANT TO BE SIMPLY THAT A CONCEPT PEOPLE GO CRAZY WITH THE CONCEPT ART.
Epic Mickey will s*ck.
Epic Mickey looks horrible. The concept art had me biting at the nails to see this amazing game. Then I found out it was on the wii, and my excitement went from 110% to 20%. then I saw the gameplay graphics and concept. This is by far the ugliest game imaginable. What a terrible lookng game. Nothig about it looks epic. I was expecting a Hayao Miyazaki meets Bioshock theme...not poop on crap!
So please just kill this abomination now or redo it right on PS3/360.
Cause the Wii is a deathtrap for any game trying to make it as a hardcore title.
FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAILFAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAILFAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL
Like there will actually be a 2nd Epic Mickey. The 1st one already looks like crap. Spector should look at Madworld and Dead Space Extraction. And we all know what happened with those games=)
