Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 sales double PS3 at retailer

Advanced sales for Activision Inc.’s Modern Warfare 2 for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 were nearly double that of the version for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 in retail data from Amazon.com.

This week, the Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 standard SKU held 60 percent of total product sales compared to the PS3 SKU at 31 percent.
