The story picks up from Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians and has a new scenario. Six characters, including a never before seen fighter, rounds the playable roster to 22.

Ikki Tousen: Xross Impact will also have new techniques, new modes, and a new "costume destruction" feature. Japan gets the PSP game on April 1, 2010.
