Jackass crashes onto PSP and DS

Mini-games seems to be the most likely route taken for the Jackass game, with characters such as Knoxville, Bam Margera, and Jason 'Wee-Man' Acuña all getting their own set of dangerous stunts. Shopping carts, downhill slopes, thongs, paintball guns, rolling garbage cans, bumper cars, rooftops, golf carts, unicyles, and another load more thongs are expect to feature heavily.

What a jackass decision.

God, why? I bought it on DS a few months back, and I don't think I've ever felt like more of a chump. Just not a good game no matter how you look at it :/

Europe, friends, you don't know how good you've had it.

NGamer Reviews Jackass The Game DS

NGamer writes:

"Or stinking up the shelves of your local games store. Because the DS doesn't have the power to simulate the comic genius of the real Jackass crew, this game is all about flinging badly animated fatmen and dwarves into solid objects, then counting how many bones they break. Which might sound like fun, but isn't.

The only thing it has going for it is that the location for all this hilarity is a town called Mianus - and now we've told you the game's only joke, we've saved you the trouble of enduring it yourself."

PSP World Reviews Jackass The Game

PSP World writes:

"While this PSP version of the classic TV series is exceptionally well put together the resulting gameplay is more a collection of mini-games rather than the fully rounded title the developers were no doubt hoping for. It's all here though and there's more than enough variety to allow you to live out all your Jackass fantasies without getting a scratch but you are unlikely to spend any prolonged period with the game. Even worse, it's a little on the short side although the developers have gone some way to address this with the inclusion of the Programme Editor and Multiplayer Modes. Regardless of all this if you are one of the many who still weep at the cancellation of the show then there's more than enough madness to keep you happy and safe."
