Kotaku: The Saboteur Impressions

The open-world adventure puts the player in control of Irish race car driver Sean Devlin who circumstances would transform into a fighter against the Nazis in occupied France.

The game world, drained of color, represented the blight of a Nazi presence. Liberating areas of the world would restore color, in a scripted manner.

Oh boy, EA is at it again.

First Dead Space - Resident Evil rip-off
then Dante Inferno - God of War rip-off
and now Saboteur - Uncharted rip-off

I love and want Uncharted 2, but how many games does it rip off? Are you for real?

Go and watch trailers. Too many similarities. Despite U2 borrowed some elements from other games but it's not completely obvious.

But those games(Date Inferno&Saboteur) are way too obvious. Strangely both of them are published by EA. Not that they are bad games or anything. We still don't know that yet but come on. IT'S WAY TOO FREAKING OBVIOUS.

My guess is EA saw the popularity in these games and wanted easy money so they ripped off the formula. It's EA's new technique/strategy.

Strangely again Saboteur and Dante's Inferno's release date are so close to Uncharted 2 and God of War 3...

Expect more rip-off games more to come from EA. You just wait and see.

Well if by EA ripping off we get great games like dead space then i don't mind.

BTW saboteur is an open world game and uncharted is not, saboteur looks more like infamous minus the lightning.

EA Sends Classic Titles To Steam

This is a nice collection of classic. EA has opened its vaults and released a series of classic PC games to Steam for the first time ever.

I wish we had a new Command and Conquer.

f you haven't already, consider getting 8-Bit Armies or the new 9-Bit Armies. They're made by some of the same folks from the older C&C, with very similar mechanics; it's just the aesthetics that are completely different.

C&C Red Alert 3 and The Saboteur were two different yet completely unforgettable games to me from a better era of EA.

Actually great list TBH I agree with all 10

I hope one day we get some remakes for the following

The saboteur(with a proper remake and quality of life features this game could be great)
Scarface world is yours
Binary domain ( such a great game with great story)
GUN(this needs a remake)
Space marine 40k(such fun time)

Would also like to suggest adding the mercenary series even the 2nd game which is disliked by many is a fun time

I recently finished Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and found it to be very enjoyable.

The game respected the lore and the gameplay was quite decent.

The color palette was a bit underwhelming (backdrops and setting) and recycled but I think that it deserved better.

Here's hoping for an amazing sequel
